These are the Terms of Service for referati.ai. They explain how our service works and what we expect from our users. Our service is operated by Individual Entrepreneur (I/E) Zaza Mzekalashvili, identification code 20001066350, registered in Georgia.

The Service

referati.ai is a software tool designed to assist you with your academic work. It is a chat-based workspace where you converse with an AI.

You can use the service for tasks like:

• Research: Finding relevant academic sources.
• Outline: Building a structure for your paper.
• Draft: Generating text for sections of your document.
• Citations: Formatting your references.
• Presentation: Preparing slides for your project.

You direct every step. The service is an assistant. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalizing your own work.

Your Account

You need an account to use referati.ai. We use Google for sign-in. This provides us with your name, email address, and profile image to create and manage your account.

Your conversations and the documents you generate are stored in your account so you can access them later.

Credits & Payments

referati.ai operates on a credit system. There are no subscriptions.

You purchase credit packs through one-time payments. Each action you perform in the chat, like generating a draft or finding sources, consumes credits from your balance.

If a specific action fails to complete, the credits used for it are automatically refunded to your account.

Payments are handled by secure third-party payment processors, who may act as a merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details on our servers.

Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity

referati.ai is a tool to support your learning and research process. It is not an essay-writing service.

You agree to use our service responsibly and in full accordance with your university's academic integrity policies. You must not use referati.ai to engage in academic misconduct. This includes submitting AI-generated text as your own original work where this is prohibited by your institution.

You are responsible for understanding and following your school's rules on AI assistance. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being used to violate academic integrity rules.

Your Content & Ownership

You own the content you create with referati.ai. This includes the prompts you write (inputs) and the text generated by the AI (outputs).

By using the service, you grant us a limited license to your content. This license is only for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the service. For example, we need to store and process your documents to make them available to you.

Third-Party Services

We use several third-party services to operate referati.ai. We only share data that is necessary for them to provide their service. These partners fall into the following categories:

• Cloud hosting and database providers (EU region)
• AI model providers
• Payment processors and merchants of record
• Transactional email providers
• Plagiarism-detection providers
• Advertising analytics pixels
• Fraud-prevention fingerprinting services

Disclaimers & Responsibility

Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. The output generated by referati.ai may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.

It is your responsibility to critically review and verify all information. This includes checking facts, figures, and the accuracy of citations before using them in your work.

Service Availability & Changes

We are always working to improve the service. This means we may add, change, or remove features over time.

While we aim for high availability, the service is provided "as is". We cannot guarantee it will be online, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use policy.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any issues arising from your use of the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Georgia.
